Co-Lin opened its Natchez campus doors in 1972. The college also offers a wide selection of career and technical programs and has participated in the job-specific training of local businesses and industries.
Many full-time workers, senior citizens and interested citizens in the area attend night classes at the college for continuing education classes.
Co-Lin partners with the Natchez branch of Alcorn State University, too.

ASU is right across the street from the community college and offers a top-notch nursing school and masters in business administration degree.
The branch of the historically black university opened with the school of nursing in 1977.
The university's main campus is about 40 miles north of Natchez in Lorman.
The main campus was founded in 1871, and has an enrollment of approximately 2,700.
The school has a football, basketball and baseball teams, among other sports.
Local schools offer programs leading to the associate, baccalaureate, master's and specialist degrees.
